SRKREC is hosting a state level cricket tournament exclusively for purohits at SRKREC Cricket ground from 21st to 27th March 2021. As many as 16 teams of purohits from different places of the state are going to participate in the contest. The event is inaugurated by MLA of Bhimavaram Sri Grandhi Srinivas garu & Undi MLA Sri Mantena Ramaraju garu. AP High Court Justice Sri B. Krishna Mohan garu will be the chief guest for the valedictory & final day of the tournament on 27th March 2021.

Mathematics Research Centre of SRKREC, in the name of noted mathematician and centenarian Dr. CR. Rao, has been inaugurated on campus on 19th March 2021. The CR Rao Mathematics Research Centre would help researchers from all departments in their mathematical and statistical analysis of their research problems.

Mathena Sri Hari Varma, Assistant Professor of CSE Department, SRKREC has been awarded with PhD from Acharya Nagarjuna University for his thesis titled "Efficient Mining Framework to Analyse and Secure Outsourced Transactional Databases" under the guidance Dr. C V P R Prasad.

Smt Oruganti Sundari annual scholarship award sponsored by Mr Oruganti Bharat (1995 ECE Alumnus), Senior Vice President of operations at Q2 Inc. USA) has been presented to 2 best students of SRKREC. CHAVAKULA SUSMITHA (9.29 CGPA) from 4/4 ECE department and NADIMPALLI ANJANI DEVI (9.29 CGPA) of 4/4 CSE has been adjudged as winners of this award. A cash award of Rs.25,000/- has been presented to each of them.
