SRKR Engineering College would be hosting the prestigious AP State Sub Junior Under-13 Badminton Championship from 22nd to 25th of this month said Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. The poster relating to the same was unveiled in the campus by Vice President of SRKR, Sri. SV Ranga Raju. SRKR Governing Council Member Mr. Pratik Varma, District Badminton Association President Smt. Chitturi Usharani, Secretary Mr. Mentee Vamsi Krishna, PD Dr. P. Satyanarayana Raju took part in this programme.
SRKR Engineering College is conducting a FDP on 'Integrative Research in Various Fields of Engineering' from 21st to 27th of Sept, 2022 in association with GITAMS University, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. The brochure relating to the same was inaugurated by SRKR Vice President Mr. SV Ranga Raju. Speaking on this occasion, Technology Centre Head Dr. Gopalakrishna Murthy had said that this FDP would concentrate on various techniques and methods used in projects relating to DST and other funded agencies. HOD of Mechanical Dept, Dr. Brahma Raju would act as Convener, Dr. Gopalakrishna Murthy would be the Coordinator, Dr. Suresh Babu would be the Co-Coordinator and Mr. Pavan Kumar would be the Organizing Secretary for this FDP.
SRKR Engineering College had received ˜Times Group Awards-2022’ in the field of 'Excellence in Holistic Education for Next Generation'. Speaking on this achievement SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju had said that this proud achievement had been bestowed on SRKR for its exemplary contribution in the areas of Societal Development, Educational Excellence and Empowering the students in various sectors. This award had been received by the Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju at Vijayawada on behalf of the institution. The management of the college had felicitated the Principal on this occasion.
Women Empowerment Cell in Collaboration with Civil Department had conducted a workshop on 'Gender Sensitization'. JNTU Senate Council Member Dr. D. Vijayalakshmi has attended this workshop as a chief guest and she said that there will not be discrimination in youth when they are completely involved in chasing their goals and respect towards the society. Everyone should be mentally strong and march ahead in reaching their goals. JNTU Women Empowerment Cell Director Dr. Swaroopa Rani said that it is very happy to see the women empowerment Cell performing exceptionally well at SRKR. Dr. BHVN Lakshmi had presided over this workshop and Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Dr. P. Ramakrishnam Raju, Dr. Prasad and Dr. Bhuvaneshwari took part in this workshop.
Prominent alumni of SRKR and Chairman of Digital Economy Mission of Karnataka Mr. BV Naidu had visited the college and addressed the staff and the students. He suggested the students to pursue research on the problems pertaining to aquaculture like water temperature, feed, pond conditions etc. He examined various projects that re being done by the students in the technology centre and Idea Lab in the college. He said that it would be really feasible if flexibility is there between the start-up founder and start-up user. He said that National Educational Policy will be a revolutionary step towards reforming education sector in India. He was grandly felicitated by the Vice President of SRKR, Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and Governing Council Member Mr. Pratik Varma.
