SRKREC has signed an Memorandum of Understanding with Hyderabad based Byrraju Foundation to provide infrastructural facilities to rural areas and mechanisation of agriculture. College principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and representative of the foundation V Pullamraju signed the MOU here on the college premises.

Dr. Udaya Kumar Nadakuduru of ECE Department has been recognized as NPTEL Discipline Star by NPTEL for certification in courses of Electrical Engineering of 50+ weeks of learning and getting a final score of 55+ in each subject.

An 'Industry Institute Partnership Cell' has been inaugurated by the Management and Administration of SRKR Engineering College on 18th February 2021 at 1130 hrs. The formal inauguration ceremony was graced by the Secretary and Correspondent Sri.S.V.Ranga Raju garu. The CEO of the College Sri.S.R.K.Nishant Varma garu and Director Sri K.Jeeva Sagar garu joined the meeting online.
13 companies across all Departments have come forward to sign MoU's with SRKR Engineering college to help students get practical training and exposure to industry. The Management has interacted with the representatives of the Industry and noted the expectations from the students graduating out of SRKREC. The Principal and Heads of the Department have explained what the college could offer to Industry through the partnership.
The meeting was presided over by the Dean R&D, Dr.PARK Raju and organised by the IIPC committee coordinated by Sri.N.Siva Kishan of Civil Engineering Department. Close contacts with Industry will help students to be better prepared for work upon their graduation from SRKREC.
T. Vamsi Nagaraju, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department bagged the prestigious National Level Young Geo-Technical Engineer Award during the Geo-Technical Society's National Level Virtual Conference organized by Andhra University (18th & 19th December 2020). Indian Geo-Technical Society confers this award to young engineers every two years in recognition of their research in Geotechnology field.

Faculty of Civil Engineering Department Mr. Penupothula Raju has been awarded with "International Engineering Educator" Degree from IGIP Austria (Consultative Status with UNESCO). The degree has been presented by Vice President Dr.Axel Zafoschnig on 10-01-2021 at 6 pm.
Mr. P. Raju is one among the 19 faculty from different institutes in India who is conferred with this degree. The degree has been awarded due to the two year long journey with IUCEE (Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education) and after the completion of a 3 phase certification process.
