AICTE has sanctioned two new courses in SRKREC from the academic year 2021-22 along with the 2 additional branches sanctioned last year.
1. B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
2. B.Tech in Computer Science & Design
Keeping in view the importance of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Industry 4.0 technologies, AICTE has recommended these new advanced branches / courses in reputed engineering colleges throughout the country. Last year, 2 new courses in B.Tech - Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS) and Computer Science & Business Systems (CSBS) has been introduced in SRKREC.
88th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of SRKREC founder Sri. Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju garu has been celebrated on 19th July 2021 in the campus. Secretary & Correspondent Sri S.V. Rangaraju garu, Incharge Principal Dr. K. Brahmaraju garu paid homage by offering flowers to the statue of Sri. Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju garu. Heads of the departments, faculty and staff were present on the occasion.
Kalidindi Kishore Raju, Assistant Professor of IT Department has been awarded with PhD from JNTU Kakinada for his thesis titled "Unsupervised Band Selection Approaches for the classification of remotely sensed hyperspectral images"

UMN SSVKR Gupta, Assistant Professor of CSE Department has been awarded with PhD from KL University for his research work related to Brain Cancer Treatment under the guidance Dr. Ch. V. Phani Krishna, KLU and Dr. Yesubabu, CRR Engineering College.
