Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju, who was an epitome of ideals and aspirations, had a vision to uplift the underprivileged in Chinaamiram, a small wealthy village. On Saturday mornings, they arranged free eye camps and spectacles for the villagers at Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Foundation headquarters in Chinaamiram. With the assistance of knowledgeable doctors, a free eye care camp was organized for the economically weaker sections on the 29th of the previous month. Around 80 individuals in need of spectacles were provided with them. Additionally, numerous cataract surgeries were performed.Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju conveyed Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju's vision and the efforts of SRKR Engineering Colleges to bring progress to the village of Chinaamiram through education and medical services, in association with Prasad & Co and SRKR Engineering Colleges. The event was attended by SV Rangaraju,Vice-Principal of the College, and Ch Dileep Varma, Administrative Manager of the College and others also participated.
