The Non-Teaching Staff Union at SRKR had felicitated the President of SRKR Sri. S. Prasada Raju in the campus. Speaking on this occasion, he said that SRKR gained fame in the International arena due to the support and cooperation of the teaching and non-teaching staff. He said that even in times of pandemic, students of SRKR succeeded in getting good placements and had won many accolades in the national level. Governing Body Members, Secretary and Correspondent Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and the Non-Teaching Staff union representatives took part in this occasion.
An induction session to students of I B. Tech was being conducted at SRKR College titled 'Joy of Engineering' by prominent personality development trainer and Director Academic Planning at JNTUK, Dr. Murali Krishna. Speaking on this occasion he said that students should implement what they learn with good values and then they can shine in their lives. He said that students should not face any tensions and should carry on their studies with fresh and calm mind. He appreciated the students who had participated with great enthusiasm in the programme. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had presided over this session. Vice President of SRKR, Sri. SV Ranga Raju, HOD of Mathematics & Humanities, Dr. Venkatapathi Raju, HOD of Chemistry Dr. Bhavani and other faculty took part in this session.
Two SRKR Students had been selected for South Zone Championship at Bangalore from 15 th
December on behalf of JNTUK, Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. Speaking on this
occasion, Physical Director Dr. P. Satyanarayana Raju had said that CSE II Year Student
Ms. Y. Yamuna Kumari and IT Final Year Student Ms. K. Kamala were selected in the championship
that was conducted last week at Gayatri Vidya Parishad, Visakhapatnam. The students were being
congratulated by Vice President of SRKR, Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and the
team of Physical Department.
SRKR Engineering College in collaboration with Bhimavaram Hospitals and Eesha Foundation had conducted an awareness rally on 'Save Soil'. Speaking on this occasion MD of Bhimavaram Hospitals and Prominent Doctor Dr. Gopala Raju had said that because of the increasing pollution the nutrients in earth are degrading day by day. Everyone should collectively take up the responsibility of the protecting the earth. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that the college is making every Saturday as green day and vehicles are prohibited inside the campus. Measures are being taken to eliminate the usage of plastic too inside the campus. Doctor Vijaya, and senior faculty took part in this event.
Traffic Police of Bhimavaram Town had conducted an awareness session to the students of SRKR
Engg College on Traffic Rules. Speaking on this occasion, Chief Guest and DSP of Bhimavaram
Division Mr. Srinadh had said that the bike riders should compulsorily have driving licences. The
traffic Dept had been organising such sessions at various colleges to create awareness and provide
LLR to the students who doesn’t have driving licences until now. The bike riders should remember
their family when they are driving the vehicles and should act responsibly. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M.
Jagapathi Raju had said that students should not drive vehicles without proper licences and
applauded the efforts of the traffic department. Traffic CI Mr. G. Das, faculty Dr. Krishna Chaitanya,
Mr. Satyanarayana took part in this event.
