SRKR Engg College had entered into an MOU with DRIVEDOCK, a start-up that was initiated by the
alumni of SRKR Mechanical Engg Dept Mr. Deepu Saladi. The documents relating to the same were
exchanged by Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and Company representative Mr. S. Sudhakara Raju.
Speaking on this occasion, HOD of ME Dr. Brahma Raju had said that Deepu used to be very active in
Automotive Club and though he was working in Germany, he started his start-up at Mallikipuram
and now the second branch at SRKR. In this branch, repair of batteries, recycling of dry batteries and
manufacturing of Go-Karts will take place. Mechanical students will also be provided with
internships. Technology Centre Head Dr. N. Gopalakrishna Murthy, Drive Dock Sales Rep Ms. Lasya,
Mechanical Engg Dept Assistant Professor Mr. V. Muralikrishnam Raju took part in this event.

Students of SRKR had developed an online food delivery app named as ‘Bhimavaram Online’. The
stall of the same was being set up at the girl’s hostel of SRKR and was inaugurated by the secretary
and Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma. He appreciated the student’s efforts in
developing a novel app. Speaking on this occasion Stall Coordinator, CSD Students Ms. Saranya had
said that food items, biryani, sweets and other items that are made by the home makers at their
respective homes will be delivered through this app to the customers without any service charges.
This option would be there for the customers who book online only. Even stationery items for the
students are also available through this app. Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Dr. Gopalakrishna
Murthy, Dr. Suresh, Dr. C Ramakrishnam Raju took part in this event.
Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Humanities Mr. Nalla Veeraju had received his doctorate from Krishna University, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. He was being felicitated by Secretary & Correspondent Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma. Speaking on this occasion Principal had said that it was the teacher’s duty to make sure that the students are responsible and are of human values. He suggested all the young faculty to complete their Ph. D. at the earliest. Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju, HOD of EM&H Dept Dr. Venkatapathi Raju took part in this event. The Dept of EEE at SRKR Engg College is conducting workshop on 25 th and 26 th of this month named as ‘APOORVA’, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said.
