One Week NSS Camp at Mogallu village by NSS Unit of SRKR had ended on Friday. Speaking on this
occasion, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students who had identified various problems
of the villagers in this week had to work on them and find apt solutions for the same. Sarpanch of
the village Ms. Krishna Kumari had appreciated the students for their awareness sessions on
Swachbharat and various health related issues. Certificates were distributed to the students who
took part in this camp. NSS Coordinator Dr. Krishna Chaitanya, Dr. Ganesh, KNV Satyanarayana,
Kanakaraju took part in this event. Eye and Skin camp was organised on this occasion.
The 2 Day National Symposium by Mechanical Dept Sanketa had concluded and the Principal of SRKR
Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had graced the occasion as the chief guest. Speaking on this occasion he said
that multi-disciplinary courses play a major role in the research in science and technology. Convener
of Sanketa Dr. Badri Raju had said that in future there are plans to conduct a multi-disciplinary
workshop for the students. Incharge HOD of Mechanical Dr. Suresh Babu expressed his happiness
regarding students across the state participating in this event. Prizes were being distributed to the
students who had won in various competitions.
24 Hours Hackathon PRAJWALANA being conducted by the Dept of CSE had concluded and the winners were distributed with cash prizes. Speaking on this occasion Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that Hackathons will help to bring out the innate talent of the students. 45 teams across the state took part in this competitions. Vishnu Institute of Technology and SRKR Engg College bagged the top 3 places in this competitions. Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju, HOD of CSE Dr. Chandrasekhar, Dr. Gopalakrishna Murthy, Dr. Sirisha, Mr. Mahesh took part in this event.
A special camp by NSS Unit of SRKR Engg College was inaugurated in Mogallu Village on Friday. Speaking on this occasion Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students should mingle themselves with the rural population in order to prepare various projects that can be benefitted to them. Students should take Alluri Sitarama Raju and AS Rao as their role models. Sarpanch of Mogallu Village Mrs. Krishna Kumari was being felicitated by the management. Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju, NSS Coordinator Dr. Krishna Chaitanya and other delegates took part in this occasion.
The Mechanical Engg Dept was conducting National Level Technical Symposium SANKETA 2023 on 25 th and 26 th of this month, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. The poster relating to the same was released in the campus by Secretary and Correspondent Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma. HOD of ME Dr. Brahma Raju had said that various events would be conducted to the students in this symposium. Dr. Bhadriraju will act as faculty coordinator.
