Renowned diagnostic medicine expert Dr. BH Shweta highlighted the prevalence of nutritional deficiencies and anemia among influential women. The Women Empowerment Cell at Bhimavaram SRKR organized a blood profile testing initiative, revealing that 95% of women managing households had these health issues. Seeking guidance from gynecologists and pathologists was recommended. Dr. BHVN Lakshmi, overseeing the Cell, expressed optimism about involving female physicians. Notable attendees included Dr. S Lava Kumar, G Sasikala, G Sri Bala, BH Revathi, G Sri Satya, and others, with support from female faculty in the college's civil engineering department.
Students from SRKR in Bhimavaram organized a rally to express support for the Chandrayaan 3 launch.the rally began at the college and moved to the Alluri Sita Rama Raju statue. Key attendees included College Secretary and Correspondent SRK Nishant Varma, Principal M. Jagapathi Raju, former DST Professor Dr. Prasad Raju, College Chemistry Broad Dr. P Bhavani, Technology Center Head Dr. M. Gopalakrishnamurthy, Dr. PA Rama Krishnamraju, Physical Director Dr. P. Dr. Thotakura Vamsi Nagaraju, an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at SRKR, noted the severe pollution of groundwater in the Aqua pond areas of Aakiveedu and Kalla mandals, rendering it unsuitable for aqua cultivation. Dr. Nagaraju, recognized as a Young Researcher Awardee and Young Geo Technical Engineer Awardee, holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from SIT Suratkal. He presented his research findings at a special event hosted by Pratik Varma governing body member, where he emphasized the growing pollution issue resulting from the extensive expansion of aqua-cultivation. The event also included honors College Principal Dr. M Jagapathi Raju, Vice President of the Governing Body SV Rangaraju, and Governing Body Members.
SRKR alumni worldwide established Geetha Scholarships in memory of their late English teacher, Geetha Raj. These scholarships recently benefited two deserving female students: G Revathi 3/4 Civil, and P. Sujatha3/4 ECE Students during a college event. Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, the College Principal, praised the alumni for their tribute, and Padmashri Sobharaj, Geetha Raj's sister and Founder Director of TTD Annamacharya Project, expressed her joy in supporting these scholarships. This enduring connection reflects deep respect and provides annual scholarships funded with approximately ten lakh rupees, with gratitude extended by the college management, representing the Alumni Association.

Sagi Satya Prateek Varma, the grandson of the late Sagi Ramakrishnan Raju, has committed to supporting the underprivileged residents of his hometown, Chinna Amiram village, in upholding the ideals of Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju. Recently, free spectacles were distributed at the foundation office following a collaborative free eye camp held last month with Gnanananda Eye Hospital doctors. On Saturday, 80 individuals in need of spectacles received eye examinations and eyewear, with some also slated for cataract surgeries.
Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju emphasized the combined efforts of Prasad Andako and SRKR Engineering Colleges, working toward fulfilling Sagi Ramakrishnan Raju's vision. Their shared mission includes providing free services in education, healthcare, and contributing to the overall progress of Amiram village. College Vice President SV Rangaraju, College Administrative Manager CH Dilip Verma, and local college staff actively participated in this program.
