The National Sports Day celebration, organized by D. Shivaji Raju, a distinguished national volleyball player and Andhra Pradesh representative, recognized deserving athletes with awards and scholarships. Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju Principal of SRKR, reported that 1860 students have been admitted to the institution's core engineering programs, encompassing Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronic Engineering. Additionally, it was revealed that the R-23 education system has been unanimously adopted by all autonomous engineering colleges in the state, permitting students to concurrently pursue minor engineering subjects and potentially earn honors degrees for advanced courses. These developments are designed to enhance the educational experience within the new system.
SRKR Engineering College recently formalized a partnership with Bosan Motors. The agreement was executed by Mr. Sagi Ramakrishna Nishant Varma, the Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Engineering College, and Mr. Suri Bhupathiraju, the Director of Bosan Motors.

Renowned diagnostic medicine expert Dr. BH Shweta highlighted the prevalence of nutritional deficiencies and anemia among influential women. The Women Empowerment Cell at Bhimavaram SRKR organized a blood profile testing initiative, revealing that 95% of women managing households had these health issues. Seeking guidance from gynecologists and pathologists was recommended. Dr. BHVN Lakshmi, overseeing the Cell, expressed optimism about involving female physicians. Notable attendees included Dr. S Lava Kumar, G Sasikala, G Sri Bala, BH Revathi, G Sri Satya, and others, with support from female faculty in the college's civil engineering department.
