Civil Significance Workshop

Workshop on engineering day held at SRKR, the significance of civil engineering in global development was underscored by esteemed engineers. Retired superintendent and engineer S. Suryanarayanaraju encouraged the active involvement of young engineers in significant construction projects. Emphasis on the role of civil engineers in addressing societal challenges was provided by Quality Control Deputy Executive Engineer Jai Venkatakrishna and Irrigation Assistant Engineer BH Prasad Rajulu. Dr. M. Jagapathiraju, the college's principal, expressed satisfaction with the remarkable achievements of college students in prestigious projects. Distinguished participants in the workshop included Dr. ACS V. Prasad, Dr. V. Chandrasekhar, SV Rangaraju, Dr. K. Brahma Raju, and Dr. K. Suresh Babu.

A Two-Day Workshop On Computer Vision

A two-day workshop on computer vision, jointly organized by SRKR Engineering College's CSE, AIML Departments, was inaugurated by Dr. GNP G Sirisha, Head of AIML Department. D Bharanikumar, CEO of 360 Digit MG, highlighted the role of computer vision in robot operation. Dr. KV Muralikrishnamraju, the college's acting principal, noted its importance in Chandrayaan-3 monitoring. V Chandrasekhar, Head of the CSC Department, and Dr. GNV G Sirisha, Head of AIML Department, discussed the potential of computer vision in healthcare and human needs. Students from various colleges participated.

In orientation program SRKR Engineering College, JNTU's Training and Placement Director, KVSG Muralikrishna, emphasized the importance of education and urged students to avoid distractions, such as excessive phone use. College Principal Dr. M Jagapathi Raju highlighted the available resources for students. Special Enforcement Bureau Inspector VVSN Varma warned against the use of intoxicants and encouraged students to avoid harmful habits. The event featured participation from various college dignitaries and attracted a significant number of first-year students and parents.

Chandrayaan 3 Triumph at SRKR

Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Principal of SRKR Engineering College, acknowledged India's global leadership in science and technology due to the success of Chandrayaan 3. A Vijayotsava event, directed by AICTE, was held in the College to inspire students. Dr. BHVN Lakshmi, Head of English and Foreign Languages, chaired the program, where it was emphasized that young engineers are crucial for future scientific endeavors. ISRO's support for mini-satellites in colleges was highlighted, alongside the recognition of competition winners and the screening of ISRO's satellite videos.

5th Master Orator Championship at SRKR

At SRKR Engineering College, the 5th Master Orator Championship, hosted by the Toast Master International Club, was inaugurated. The event underscored the importance of technical students developing language skills for international competitiveness. Distinguished individuals in attendance comprised Dr. P Bhavani, Head of Engineering Chemistry; Dr. KR Satyanarayana, Dean of the Training and Placement Cell; and Dr. CH Rupa Jhansi Rani, Assistant Professor in the English Department. The competition saw participation from students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, involving a total of 330 students.
