SRKR Engineering College recently concluded the International Conference on Advanced Artificial Intelligence (ICAAI-2023) in a three-day event. Dr. RBV Subrahmanyam garu, a senior professor from NKT Warangal, highlighted the government's substantial funding for students researching algorithms and AI.
Encouraging practical implementation, Dr. Subrahmanyam garu suggested students turn conference papers into projects for real-world applications. JNTUK Kakinada Principal, Dr. M. H. M. Krishna Prasad garu, urged all departments to organize more conferences for the benefit of both faculty and students.
The conference provided a valuable platform for exploring the latest developments in AI and algorithms. College Principal Dr. KV Murali Krishnamraju garu, NIT Warangal Professor Nagesh Battu S, Dr. KNV Jaganmohan garu, Dr. Gupta garu and others participated in the program. On this occasion, certificates were distributed by Dr. Subramaniam garu to the teachers who participated in the international conference for three days.
College president Sri Sagi Prasadaraju garu inaugurated the newly constructed sand bed walking track around the water tank in the local SRKR Engineering College on Sunday. On this occasion, College Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Nishant Varma garu said that this was arranged as per the suggestions of experts that if the students walk for at least 15 minutes a day on the naturally prepared sandy soil, the blood circulation will be good and they will have good thoughts with perfect health. There is a pond around, coconut trees on the embankment and a walking track in the middle of other pleasant trees. This track is used not only by students but also by local walkers

In a remarkable feat at the JNTUK Central Zone Fencing Competition held at VR Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada, Our College students showcased their prowess, clinching top honors.
ECE finalist M Venkatesh secured the gold medal in the foil category, while Y Leela Krishna Sabiri, a third-year mechanical engineering student, earned the silver medal. These outstanding athletes are set to represent JNTUK in the upcoming South West Zone tournament in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, commencing on the 25th of this month.
Adding to the accolades, Subhash Chandra Kumar, a third-year ECE student, achieved a bronze medal in the AP category. Meanwhile, John David, a final-year Mechanical Engineering student, earned a coveted spot in the JNTK team for the South Zone Inter-University Competition at SRM University, Chennai.

In a momentous achievement for our college, four outstanding final year students have been handpicked to serve as trainee engineers at Sifi Technologies, each receiving a generous annual salary of Rs. 6 lakh. This remarkable accomplishment was announced by Dr. KV Muralikrishnamraju, the esteemed principal of our institution.
The felicitation ceremony took place on Monday, where Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Sant Varma extended his heartfelt congratulations to the accomplished students. The event was graced by the presence of College Director Dr. M. Jagapathiraju and the Dean of the Training and Placement Cell, Dr. KR Satyanarayana.
Dr. Satyanarayana revealed that the selection process was highly competitive, with a total of 14 students chosen from the Computer Science department, 10 from Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), 8 from Information Technology (IT), and one each from the Mechanical and Electrical departments.
The Heads of various departments, including V. Chandrasekhar, BHPS Ramakrishnan Raju, and BRK Verma, were also actively involved and participated in this momentous occasion. Notably, students Sathwika and Keerthana have emerged as shining stars, each securing an impressive annual salary of Rs. 12 lakhs.
