Innovations and Internships: Key to Student Success at SRKR Engineering College

Bhimavaram: In a significant step towards enhancing educational outcomes, SRKR Engineering College has emphasized the importance of innovations and internships for students. During a recent event, College Director M. Jagapathi Raju and Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju spoke about the crucial role these elements play in modern education. The occasion marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Wadwani Foundation, aimed at fostering new innovations. Vishnu Priya, a representative from the Wadwani Foundation, exchanged the MoU documents, solidifying the partnership. Jagapathi Raju and Muralikrishnam Raju highlighted that the college's Technology Center and Idea Lab are vital in supporting student inventions and projects. M. Suresh Babu, the MoU Coordinator and head of the Computer Science department, noted that approximately 200 students from the Computer Science, Information Technology, and related departments, along with four faculty members, will benefit from specialized training through this initiative. The program was also attended by N. Gopalakrishnamurthy, Head of the Technology Center, and N. Sivakishan, Assistant Professor at the Vet Center, who contributed to discussions on innovation in education. This collaboration is expected to open new avenues for student creativity and practical experience, ensuring they are well-equipped for the challenges of the modern workforce.

JNTUK Central Zone Inter-College Basketball and Netball Competitions Held at SRKR Engineering College

Bhimavaram Education, October (Andhra Jyoti): The JNTUK Central Zone Inter-College Basketball and Netball Competitions commenced on Saturday at SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram, and will run for two days. The competitions were inaugurated by Vice Chancellor SV Ranga Raju and Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju. Dr. Satyanara Yanaraju, Speaker of the Sports Committee, announced that a total of 21 teams participated in the basketball competitions, while 10 teams competed in netball. The opening ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Srinivasa Rao from Vijayawada and representatives from the Vizag District Association and West Godavari District Association. The women's basketball and netball competitions are set to begin on Sunday morning. The event has been organized by the Assistant Physical Director of the college, along with other faculty members. Narasapuram Swarnandhra Engineering College Wins Men's Basketball Title

Bhimavaram Education, October 27 (Andhra Jyoti): The two-day JNTUK Central Zone Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament held at Bhimavaram SRKR Engineering College concluded with exciting results. Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju, Principal of SRKR Engineering College, announced the winners during the closing ceremony. In the men's basketball category, Narasapuram Swarnandhra Engineering College emerged victorious, claiming first place. Nambur VVIT College from Guntur secured the second position, while Bhimavaram SRKR Engineering College and Guntur KHIT College shared the third spot. In the women's basketball category, Aditya Engineering College took home the first prize, followed by Bhimavaram SRKR College in second place. The third position was shared by Guntur St. Mary's Engineering College and Ongole QIP College. Additionally, in the men's netball category, Bhimavaram SRKR Engineering College also clinched first place, with Vijayawada PVP Siddhartha Engineering College and CR Reddy Engineering College securing second and third positions, respectively. The winners were awarded their trophies by SV Ranga Raju, Vice President of SRKR Engineering College, along with Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju and JNGUK Intercollegiate Tournament Secretary Dr. Raju. SRKR to Host International Conference on December 4, 5, and 6 ICAAI 2024: Advanced Algorithms in Artificial Intelligence

Bhimavaram: Dr. KV Murali Krishnam Raju, Principal of SRKR Engineering College, announced that the Computer Science and Engineering Department will be hosting the International Conference on Advanced Algorithms in Artificial Intelligence (ICAAI) - 2024 on December 4th, 5th, and 6th. College Secretary and Correspondent, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, encouraged engineering faculty members from across the country to participate in the conference and benefit from the discussions. He also shared that the research papers presented during the event will be published in the Taylor and Francis book series and will be submitted for Scopus indexing. Dean of Academics, Dr. V. Chandra Shekhar, along with CSE Department Head, Dr. BHVS Ramakrishnam Raju, and Conference Coordinator, Dr. RNV Jaganmohan, were also present during the announcement.

SRKR Students Showcase Talent in National Level Competitions

Bhimavaram, October 1: Students from the Mechanical Engineering Department of SRKR Engineering College achieved remarkable success by securing second place in the ATV Design and Racing Championship at the national level. Principal KV Murali Krishnam Raju shared the details during a congratulatory event held at the college on Monday, where he praised the students for their achievement. The competition, organized by Sagar Institute of Science Technology and Research in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, took place from September 27 to October 1 under the banner of ISSEE Motor Sports' Formula Off Road Mini Baja-2024. Team Godavarni, representing SRKR, displayed exceptional skills in vehicle designing and racing. The team consisted of Dangeti Sreesai Supreet, Suda Valli Chandrasekhar, and Boggavarapu Sreesai Suryadeep, who worked on the vehicle design, while Reddy Purnachandra and A. Pushkar Vikas Verma served as the vehicle drivers. Palapuri Venkata Durga Sairam, as the team's captain, earned the title of "Best Captain." Congratulatory Event College Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Nishant Varma, Director M. Jagapathi Raju, Mechanical Engineering Head K. Sureshbabu, P. Rammurthiraj, Faculty Coordinator M. Anil, and other dignitaries attended the event to congratulate the winners on their outstanding performance.
