Under the aegis of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a daily online program named "Vedic Vision 2K25" is being conducted from the 4th to the 14th of this month, and Coordinator Faculty Dr. K.V. MuraliKrishna Rao said that our locality has received a great opportunity through this program. College Director Dr. M. Janardhan Raju released the related posters on Tuesday during a special event held at the college.
On this occasion, Program Coordinator Faculty Dr. D. Satyanarayana Raju stated that under the aegis of the Abdul Kalam Institute of Technology and Management (AKITM), lakhs of people per day will have the opportunity to watch the ten-day online program, which will focus on developing new technologies in the national security sector. He said that a 24-hour non-stop hackathon competition on the same topic will also be conducted from the 14th to the 15th. He mentioned that in the competition held last year, students from various engineering colleges in the state showcased their talent in areas like 3D, algorithms, and animation. He revealed that the winners of the competition will be awarded a cash prize of up to 35 thousand rupees. He said the program is being jointly organized by the Faculty Executive along with the college's Technical Organization Club and the CSE and CSIT departments.

A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Synthesis and Characterization of Ultrafine Grained Materials and Composites” was successfully conducted at the Mechanical Engineering Department of SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram. The event was organized in collaboration with JNTUK. The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. B.H.V.S. Ramakrishnamraju, Principal-in-Charge, and Dr. K. Suresh Babu, FDP Coordinator. Esteemed guests including Dr. Kalapala Prasad, Dr. Kollu Ravindra, and Dr. Venu Reddy contributed to the session. The FDP provided valuable insights on interdisciplinary technologies, and several faculty members actively participated to enhance their research and teaching methodologies.

A workshop on the significance of NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation was conducted as part of the Gunwatta Yatra Awareness Program at the Civil Department of S.R.K. Engineering College. R. Srikanth, NABL Bengaluru Regional Head and QCIR Director, emphasized that skill recognition in laboratories is achievable only through NABL accreditation. The event highlighted how NABL testing boosts reliability in results and contributes to technological advancement. Key attendees included College Director M Jagapathiraju, Principal KV Muralikrishnamraju, Civil HOD G Sri Bala, and R&D Dean T Vamsi Nagaraju.
SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram, organized a yoga awareness programme on June 20, 2025, at the Model Primary Mandal Parishad Primary School in Peda Amiram, as part of the YogaAndhra initiative. This event was held under the guidance of the Upper Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and the People's Association of Inner Engineering (PAIE).
The programme aimed to instill discipline and positive thinking among students through the practice of yoga. College Director Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju emphasized the mental and physical benefits of regular yoga practice.
