Jahnavi Emerges Victorious in SRKR Orator Championship

A Jahnavi, a second-year ECE student, secured first place in the SRKR Orator Championship organized by the SRKR Toastmasters and Language Nest Club at SRKR Engineering College. The event, spanning several phases since August, culminated in a thrilling final round on Monday. Jahnavi's eloquence and oratory prowess stood out among the contestants, earning her a cash prize of Rs 5,000. Dr. M Jagapati Raju and Principal Dr. KV Murali Krishnam Raju awarded prizes to the winners, including Ch Sridhar Shyam and K Haswant Kumar, who secured second and third place, respectively. Dr. Raju emphasized the importance of strong oratory skills and proficient English pronunciation for international success. This victory underscores SRKR Engineering College's commitment to nurturing talent and holistic development. Congratulations to Jahnavi and all the winners for their exemplary performances.

Vikshit Bharat: A Vision for a Developed India

To achieve the goals of Vikshit Bharatt 2047, Dr. Shreekant, an international researcher in agriculture, stressed the importance of solving the problems faced by people with indigenous technological knowledge. This was discussed during a program conducted jointly by the Departments of Engineering Chemistry and Engineering Physics at SRKR Engineering College during the Science Day celebrations. Dr. Shreekant, addressing the gathering, highlighted the need for encouraging scientific research and promoting indigenous solutions to address the challenges faced by society. He also suggested measures to reduce plastic usage, such as promoting the construction of plastic roads and establishing water management plants every five kilometers. Dr. P. A. Ramakrishnam Raju, Director of the college, along with Principal Dr. K.V. Murali Krishna Raju, Head of Engineering Chemistry Dr. P. Bhavani, Head of Engineering Physics Dr. V. Someshwara Rao, and others, presided over the event. In this context, they unveiled the poster for the research program.
