Hackathon "Hackover Flow 2K24" Inaugurated at SRKR Engineering College

Bhimavaram, October 18: Dr. KV Muralikrishnamraju, Principal of Bhimavaram SRK Engineering College, highlighted the importance of team spirit in achieving excellent results during the inauguration of the hackathon competition, "Hackover Flow 2K24." The event commenced on Friday morning with the ceremonial lighting of the torch. Convenor K David Raju presided over the inaugural program, emphasizing that collaboration and sharing of ideas among students can lead to effective problem-solving. Dr. Muralikrishnamraju encouraged participants to engage in discussions to tackle various challenges. A total of 209 students formed 60 teams to participate in the competition. The focus areas for their projects include critical issues such as agriculture, women's and child welfare, and health protection, with the aim of developing practical solutions that can make a positive impact. The event was attended by several faculty members, including Dean of Academics Dr. V. Chandrasekhar, Dean of the Training and Placement Cell Dr. K.R. Satyanarayana, Head of Engineering Chemistry Dr. P. Bhavani, and Head of the IT Department Dr. P. Ravikiran Verma. We wish all participants the best of luck in their innovative endeavors!

SRKR Engineering College Hosts JNTUK Central Zone Badminton Tournaments

Bhimavaram, October 19: SRKR Engineering College Vice President SV Ranga Raju emphasized the importance of showcasing sports talent at the national level during the inauguration of the JNTUK Inter College Badminton Tournaments for men and women. The event kicked off with great enthusiasm, highlighting the college's commitment to promoting sports alongside academics. Dr. K.V. Muralikrishna Raju, College Principal, also addressed the participants, encouraging students to excel in both sports and studies. College Physical Director Dr. P. Satyanarayana Raju announced that the tournament featured 28 teams in the men’s section and 15 teams in the women’s division, making it a competitive and exciting event. The tournament also serves as a platform for selecting players for the South Zone competitions. Representatives from the university were present to support and witness the proceedings. Vishnu Women’s College of Engineering Triumphs in JNTUK Central Zone Badminton Tournament

Bhimavaram: Bhimavaram Sri Vishnu Women's College of Engineering showcased exceptional talent by emerging as the winner in the women's category at the JNTUK Central Zone Badminton Tournament. The two-day event concluded at Bhimavaram SRKR Engineering College on Sunday. In the men's category, Narasa Raopet Engineering College claimed first place, while Bhimavaram SRKR Engineering College secured the second position. The Krishna District's Amrita Sai Institute of Science and Technology and VVIT finished third. The prize distribution ceremony took place on Sunday evening, where College Vice President SV Ranga Raju and Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju presented awards to the winners. Dr. P. Satyanarayana Raju, Physical Director and Sports Committee Convenor at SRKR Engineering College, acknowledged the collaborative efforts that made the tournament successful. The third position in the women’s category was jointly awarded to Gudlavalleru Engineering College and Tadepalligudem Vasavi Engineering College. JNTUK observers, including Dr. Sunitha, Dr. Sarath, and Assistant Physical Director of SRKR Engineering College, Dr. C.H. Hari Mohan, were present during the event to oversee the proceedings. Dr. Chigurupathi Ravi Swaroop Receives PhD Degree

Bhimavaram, October 21 (Vashishtude): We are proud to announce that Dr. Chigurupathi Ravi Swaroop, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Bhimavaram SRK Engineering College, has been awarded his PhD degree from the Department of Information Technology at Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. The announcement was made by College Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju during a special ceremony where Dr. Ravi Swaroop was felicitated by College Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Nishant Varma on behalf of the management. Dr. Ravi Swaroop delivered an insightful presentation on his thesis titled "Design and Development of Innovative Adversarial Network Outer Prediction: Sequential Data Analysis Using Hybrid Optimized Neural Network." His research, supervised by K. Raja, focuses on enhancing the accuracy and reliability of data-driven decisions across various domains by employing a hybrid-optimized neural network. The thesis explores the development of innovative adversarial networks and their application in sequential data analysis, utilizing prototype machine learning models for improved system efficiency. The event was attended by College Director Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Dean of Academics Dr. V. Chandrasekhar, Head of Computer Science Engineering Dr. B.H.V.S. Innovations and Internships: Key to Student Success at SRKR Engineering College

Bhimavaram: In a significant step towards enhancing educational outcomes, SRKR Engineering College has emphasized the importance of innovations and internships for students. During a recent event, College Director M. Jagapathi Raju and Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju spoke about the crucial role these elements play in modern education. The occasion marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Wadwani Foundation, aimed at fostering new innovations. Vishnu Priya, a representative from the Wadwani Foundation, exchanged the MoU documents, solidifying the partnership. Jagapathi Raju and Muralikrishnam Raju highlighted that the college's Technology Center and Idea Lab are vital in supporting student inventions and projects. M. Suresh Babu, the MoU Coordinator and head of the Computer Science department, noted that approximately 200 students from the Computer Science, Information Technology, and related departments, along with four faculty members, will benefit from specialized training through this initiative. The program was also attended by N. Gopalakrishnamurthy, Head of the Technology Center, and N. Sivakishan, Assistant Professor at the Vet Center, who contributed to discussions on innovation in education. This collaboration is expected to open new avenues for student creativity and practical experience, ensuring they are well-equipped for the challenges of the modern workforce.
